My background with events and songwriting, elevates the way I write and lead ceremonies
Before becoming a wedding celebrant, I spent two decades working as a professional songwriter and performer. (Yes, there are albums on Spotify — and touring footage on YouTube in varying levels of nostalgia.) That background now underpins my work as a ceremony writer and celebrant — I know how to shape emotion, hold a room, and tell a story that truly lands.
Alongside music, my career took me into events and venue management, including a formative chapter as a wedding planner. This experience means I fully understand how much care, planning and emotional investment goes into a wedding day. When you gather your most important people in one place, your wedding ceremony should reflect the essence of who you are — not feel like an afterthought.
Love Lines was born from a desire to design meaningful and personalised ceremonies that celebrate life’s most important milestones
From falling in love, to welcoming new life through naming ceremonies, and pausing to honour significant moments worth marking.
I don’t believe celebrant-led weddings or naming ceremonies should feel stiff, overly scripted or worse of all- generic. They should feel like they’re being led by someone who genuinely gets you — because by the time your day arrives, I do.
