Some of you may have discovered Love Lines through my music as Elissa Franceschi — or more recently Ylissa. Music has been part of my life for many years: four albums, two EPs, and countless performances alongside extraordinary musicians.
Songwriting has always been where story and emotion meet.

Alongside writing and leading ceremonies, I occasionally weave in live, a cappella moments – a short verse or chorus, written just for you, and sung within the ceremony itself.
It might be a reflection on your relationship, a quiet nod to a defining moment, or something that simply captures the feeling in the room.
These moments are never over-produced or performative – just simple, personal and unexpectedly moving.

an artist-led commission
For a very small number of couples, individuals and families each year, I also offer bespoke songwriting as a dedicated, artist-led commission.
This is a deeper, more immersive process – one that moves beyond a single moment and into something fully formed.
We begin with a conversation. A memory, a milestone, a person, a place – the details that hold meaning for you. From there, I write an original song shaped entirely around your story.
Because sometimes – a story lands differently when it’s sung.

Each piece is written from scratch and professionally recorded, with my voice at the centre.
The result is a finished song that belongs to you alone — something to return to over the years, to play often, and to hold as part of your story.

Some choose to weave the song into their ceremony — heard for the first time in that moment.
Others keep it for a first dance, a private listening, or simply as something to return to over time.
There is no single way to experience it — only what feels right for you.
